The concrete floors and metal finishes create an industrial feel, and designer furnishings bring a touch of luxury to the space. There's also a game room in the lobby for added fun. Surrounded by trendy restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as cultural attractions. One block from parades & festival main stage.
The building was originally built around the 1940's and was owned by the United States Postal Service. It was renovated into 5 modern industrial apartments in 2022, that range in size and still has the DMS Mail Management sign in the exterior. The building includes a shared lobby/game room, a fully fenced back yard, and a parking lot. This apartment has 2 bedrooms with queen beds & TVs, 2 full bathrooms, a dining area, living room & full kitchen. It also includes a washer and dryer.

*The building is located across from the Rosa Parks center and train station in downtown Lafayette & is within walking distance of everything in the downtown area: coffee shops, restaurants, museums, nitelife, art walk, etc. It's located one block from the main stage for Festival Internationale, downtown live, etc. It's within 2 blocks of Mardi Gras parades. It's the perfect location for travelers to experience a little bit of our city.
*The preferred mode of travel here is Uber or Lyft. Bicycles work in the downtown area, and we do have a bike rack in the back yard. Bike rental is available at Hub City Cycles at 501 Jefferson St.
